多元文化小组委员会 is responsible for building cross cultural interactions aimed at increasing multicultural awareness 而且 appreciation across the 大学 through the celebration of heritage months 而且 other 事件 that facilitate dialogue, raise awareness of diverse experiences, 建立社区.
LGBTQ小组委员会 is responsible for promoting the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ students, including but not limited to working with the UIU Pride Club; celebrating Pride Month 而且 LGBTQ+ 历史 Month, among other 性别 diversity 事件; 而且 organizing Ally Training. 也, the planning 而且 implementation of a new LGBTQ+ Peacock’s Resource Center on the 菲也特 Campus.
The Human Resources Subcommittee is responsible for facilitating the recruitment, 保留, 而且 promotion of a diverse 而且 inclusive workforce throughout the employment life cycle, 而且 encouraging all employees to pursue educational opportunities to help enhance 而且 uphold cultural competency.
The Accessibility Subcommittee is responsible for analyzing UIU learning platforms 而且 spaces to ensure accessibility for all 而且 raising disability awareness through various communications, 项目和活动.

All suspected discrimination, 骚扰, 或报复 应该报告. The University cannot attempt to address the questioned behavior if it is not made aware of it. 因此, it is important that any case of suspected discrimination, 骚扰, 或报复, whether you simply observe it or are a victim of it, 应该报告. A person who believes that he or she has been subjected to any type of discrimination, 骚扰, 或报复 should report the incident to the appropriate University official, 管理员, 主管, or the Vice President for Human Resources. Students are encouraged to report such incidents to the AVPSL or designee.
Employees 而且 visitors are encouraged to report to the Vice President for Human Resources or designee. Incidents 应该报告 as soon as possible after the time of their occurrence.
